Currently over 20 full time design and development engineers are working on projects ranging from groundbreaking designs for window and door locking devices to the use of revolutionary materials in innovative applications.

3D computer aided design improves and speeds the New Product Development process and aids the objective of "right first time products".

The design team are drawn not only from the door and window industry but also from diverse fields such as the aerospace, automotive and plastics industries.

One measure of our creativity is the continuous flow of patents and registered designs that are awarded to our design teams every year.

Our research and development departments also boast comprehensive door and window
testing facilities with UKAS accreditation for the security testing of doors and windows to PAS 23 and PAS 24.

Our laboratory technicians are able to give professional help and guidance to customers using our test facilities.
